This clepsydra ("water thief" ) clock uses a syphon to drive a ratchet wheel and clock movement. The siphon's cycle s 1 minute. The clock is run by a 12v electric pump whose speed is regulated by a microcolller. A Hall cell interrupts the microcontroller which measures each cycle, and adjusts the pump speed to maintain a 1-minute cycle.
