Whew! The rains of yesterday are gone and during the night flood waters receded. The water level came dangerously close to inundating the nest, but luckily that never happened.

This afternoon the second hatch occurred. It was hard at times to watch this hatch as the colt somehow got his/her wing stuck through a pip in the egg and the two-day old colt kept pulling on its wing. Anyhow, here's the video showing the hatch.
