Joel (Jim Carrey) begins the procedure to remove all memories of his ex-girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) from his brain aided by Doctor Howard Mierzwiak (Tom Wilkinson) & his team of assistants Patrick (Elijah Wood), Stan (Mark Ruffalo) & Mary (Kirsten Dunst).

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004): Joel finds out that his girlfriend, Clementine, has had him erased from her memories and decides to do the same. During the time of the clinical procedure, he realizes that he still loves her deeply.
