Over 122 years ago, a mystery regarding the bones of founding father, Major General Nathanael Greene, was laid to rest in a ceremony that journeyed from Colonial Park Cemetery to Johnson Square in Historic Downtown Savannah. In September of 2022, we chatted with Greene descendent Kevin George Greene in this very spot about his ancestor's missing bones, the cotton gin, @TheSavannahBananas and more.

As part of our day, we also took the Greene family on a special historical walk mirroring the funeral procession of Major General Nathanael Greene, through Downtown Savannah to Colonial Park Cemetery. Along the way, we came across musician and professor Jamie Keena, historical reenactor Aaron Bradford of Liberty Encounters, and historian and musician Chase Anderson, who delighted with unique presentations honoring the Major General and his family. We didn't want such a lovely day to end, but this episode ensures we can remember it always, and best of all, share the experience with you!
