The numbers have been sung by Rekha in her mellifluous voice. The album features the poetry of Gulzar where he talks about divine love and worship keeping the Sufi thought as the base. The whole poetry has been given a very beautiful and contemporary feel by Vishal Bhardwaj. The mood of the whole album is that of soft and soul-stirring compositions sung by Rekha.
