Vanessa's comments about this video - This video is inspired by this Barbra Streisand video for "One Less Bell to Answer" see here:    • One Less Bell to Answer/A House is No...   We wanted to do something super simple and performance based but have a moment where I split in two and duet with myself just like Babs did. Also this was a great excuse to wear fake bangs.

Vanessa's comments about this cover - The original version of this song was sung by Fred Neil which is so different from the Karen Dalton version. I actually studied Fred’s version for this. Karen’s interpretation makes me cry and I could never mimic her. We ended up doing this song in one take to tape. An ode to another time. And wow what a simple searing little song this is.
