Scouring through old hard drives before they become defunct, I found this strange "album" I made for a girl I used to have a crush on named Patti. I was trying to woo her by making her a mix of rare Motion City Soundtrack cuts when she told me they were her favorite band (I'm sure that fact has changed). Though this is really a collection of their Back to the Beat EP and some early singles (followed by some acoustic and radio sessions), I figured, hell this is Motion City Soundtrack, the definitive teenage angst band of my generation, so Patti's Mix is a totally befitting title.
