The hatching process of M1, M2 and M3 has finished. Now, the adults can spend all their time keeping their trio of chicks safe, warm and well fed.
Big Red has turned 20 years old. Historical banding records indicate that it was banded in nearby Brooktondale, New York, during its first fall in 2003. Big Red has flourished during its tenure at Bird Cams, laying 31 eggs between 2012 and 2022. and raising 30 chicks to fledge.
The story of this nesting 2023, has only just begun
