are marathons just beautiful products?

This video is an attempt to share some thoughts about the marathon.
As humans we are very complex and I've been wondering for a while how that can be interpreted into a running perspective.

I don't have the tools yet to express all thoughts, and some are probably not even interesting.

Feel free not to take any of this seriously.
But I'd still like to know, what's really the marathon for you?
