Apple Pie

Pie Crust:
1 1/4 Cups- AP Flour
1/2 Tsp- Salt
1 1/2 Sticks - Unsalted Butter
3/4 Cup- Cold Water

Pie Filling:
1 Stick- Unsalted Butter
2 Tbsp- AP Flour
1 Tbsp- Cornstarch
5- Large Apple (I used Granny Smith and gala but they can be changed)
1 Stick- Vanilla Bean (or 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract)
1- Lemon (the juice)
1 Tsp- Ginger
1/2 Tsp- Nutmeg
1/2 Tsp- Allspice
1/2 Cup- White Sugar
1/2 Cup- Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp- Natural Maple Syrup
1/2 Tsp- Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp- Salt
1- Egg (to brush on top)

(Bake at 415 for 15 minutes, lower to 400 then bake for 30-35 minutes)
