On August 8th, 4 year old St. Jude patient Avery got on stage with Sugarland in her pink cowboy boots while the band played at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. Avery is a very special little girl who at the age of 22 months was diagnosed with cancer and was given 3-6 months to live WITH treatment. Thanks to the work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, Avery is now 4 years old and is 85% cancer free. But Avery's fight isn't over yet.
