Harley-Davidson motorcycles (popularly known as "Harleys") are distinctive in design and sound. Harley-Davidson motorcycles attract a loyal following (in marketing terms, the owners form a brand community). Military history of African Americans is that of African-Americans in the United States since the arrival of the first black slaves in 1619 to the present day. From the 1870s to the early 20th Century, African-American units were utilized by the United States Government to combat the Native Americans during the Indian Wars. Perhaps the most noted among this group were the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th Cavalry and the 10th Cavalry. A Motorcycle Club (MC) is an organized club of motorcycle riders who follow a series of traditional MC rules including, but not limited to, elected officers; probationary periods; and the wearing of a specific club patch including "MC".
