The plaintiff says the defendant was a nightmare landlord. She claims she even lost her job because of him, so she’s suing him for $5,000. The defendant says the plaintiff got into tussles with the other neighbors, and he had to have her arrested for stealing when she stopped paying rent. He’s countersuing for unpaid rent and lawyers’ fees.


The plaintiff says she and the defendant were friends for years and planned to head to Miami for her birthday. She bought a plane ticket for the defendant, but she backed out. The plaintiff is suing for her money back, plus cancellation fees. The defendant claims she never fully agreed to go because she had to check with work first to get the time off. Her boss wouldn’t let her off, so she didn’t go.


The plaintiff says she bought a 1997 car with 173,000 miles on in from the defendant. She claims she was shocked to find out it was unsafe after she took it to a mechanic. She’s suing for her money back. The defendant says the plaintiff test drove it, negotiated the price, and bought it, and then called a week later to say she didn’t want it.
