Mount Horeb Area School District Superintendent, Dr. Steve Salerno, says there's no timeline for grief. That's why resources will be available for students and their families throughout the school year.

"We can't put into words, quite frankly, the amount of gratitude, profound, deep gratitude we have for the love that's been shown to our kids in this school district," Salerno said.

While processing will take time for both students and staff, Salerno says the district wants to be proactive in their efforts to connect kids with healing resources.
