A bright streak of purple, like a giant blueberry, zipped past a sleepy sloth hanging upside down. In the tallest tree, the streak landed with a chirp. This bird was unlike anything the animals had ever seen! Its feathers shone like polished jewels, and its eyes sparkled like golden buttons. The whole jungle held its breath, waiting to see what this amazing visitor would do next.
