On August 31st, RA, fabric and Jägermeister hosted SAVETHENIGHT 2023, an afternoon of panel conversations followed by a party.

We brought together some of the most important voices in London's dance music scene to discuss the challenges facing the industry today—booking fees, the staying power of venues, accessibility and more—and how best to move forward.

In this conversation, RA's Michael Lawson spoke with I. JORDAN, Parris and PXSSY PALACE's Nadine Noor about the steps the dance music industry can take to become more accessible. The lively conversation asked questions such as: is dance music becoming homogenised? What can be done to improve accessibility for people from underrepresented backgrounds? And is it a problem that the industry is so skewed towards London?

The event formed part of the 2023 SAVETHENIGHT fund, which is offering funding of up to €100,000 to applicants from around the world–people working in nightlife who have an idea or a project that can help nightlife to develop and progress. If this is you, apply before November 30th via this application form: https://save-the-night.jagermeister.com/
