Getting Over It revolves around a silent man by the name of Diogenes sitting in a cauldron and wielding a Yosemite hammer, which he can use to grip objects and move himself with. Using the mouse or trackpad (controllers are supported but make the game harder because of the lack of precision in the joysticks), the player tries to move the man's upper body and sledge hammer in order to climb a steep mountain.[4]

McLoughlin started to work on his YouTube channel in 2012, under the name "jacksepticeye", in which he posted gameplay videos. In 2013, McLoughlin was mentioned in a PewDiePie video, causing him to gain mass popularity. Although his first video was made on 12 November 2012, he joined YouTube on 24 February 2007.

During the month of July 2014, McLoughlin's channel gained over 57 million views. At the time, his channel had only 800,000 subscribers.[2]

He co-starred as the antagonist of the second season of the TV show Scare PewDiePie. However, the series' second season was cancelled before its release, which would have taken place on 9 March 2017.[3]

Since April 2017, McLoughlin has exclaimed his love for voice acting and that he hopes to be part of more voice acting projects in the future.

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg born 24 October 1989), known online as PewDiePie , is a Swedish web-based comedian and video producer. He is known for his Let's Play commentaries and vlogs, as well as his following on YouTube.

Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, PewDiePie originally pursued a degree in industrial economics and technology management at Chalmers University of Technology. In 2010, during his time at the university, he registered a YouTube account under the name PewDiePie. The following year, he dropped out of Chalmers after becoming disinterested with his degree field, much to the dismay of his parents. After failing to earn an apprenticeship with an advertising agency in Scandinavia, he then decided to focus on creating content for his YouTube channel. In order to fund his videos, PewDiePie began selling prints of his Photoshop art projects and working at a hot dog stand. PewDiePie soon gathered a rapidly increasing online following, and in July 2012, his channel surpassed one million subscribers.
