Physicists often believe that the best theories are beautiful, natural and elegant. What is beautiful must be true.
However, Dr Sabine Hossenfelder shows that physics has run itself into a corner with this. The belief in beauty has become so dogmatic that it is now in conflict with scientific objectivity. Observations can no longer confirm the most daring theories such as e.g. Supersymmetry.
