Do:
Act excited!!!
Give breaks - raise motivation!
Draw attention to your mouth by pulling object to your mouth
Use very simple language (1-3 words)
Make correlations between objects
Repeat the words over and over again!
MODEL what you want them to say
Over-exaggerate!

Don't:
Over prompt and/or give too many commands such as "say"
Don't say "use your words"
Give too many instructions/too complicated instructions
Push kiddos on their bad days
