Here's my trumpet tutorial on what you need to do if you are having trouble doing a trumpet lip buzz. Some people call it "free buzz" or "trumpet buzzing", but we call it lip buzz. Lip Buzzing is when you make a trumpet sound with only your lips, no trumpet, no mouthpiece.

Some people struggle with lip buzz for the trumpet because it takes a very precise balance of air and lip pressure. Too much or too little of either will cause the lip buzz not to work.

The lip buzzing exercise I teach in this trumpet tutorial video is specifically for trumpet students who have struggled with lip buzzing in the past. It follows specific steps to help you find the delicate balance between air and lip resistance.
