Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands, known as the city of bicycles and canals, which has a wide variety of attractions and activities to do.
We present you the 15 best attractions to visit in Amsterdam.

1 – Rokin Street
This street is one of the most important in the center of Amsterdam, connecting Dam Square with Muntplein, with a length of six blocks, very lively and commercial.

2 - Dam Square
Of all the squares in Amsterdam, Dam Square (also known as Damplein) is by far the most important.

3 – Damrak Street
This street connects the Central Station with Dam Square, along its length there is everything from restaurants, fast food houses, souvenir shops, tourist venues, bars and currency exchanges.
It is the main street through which all the people who arrive at the station enter the center of Amsterdam.

4 – Amsterdam Science Museum, Nemo
The Science Center Nemo is a science center located in the port area. The museum has its origins in 1923, and is located in a huge ship-shaped building that has a greenish color acquired over the years (in its beginnings it was copper).

5 – Jordaan Quarter
Jordaan is a popular neighborhood of Amsterdam with small streets and charming canals, located to the west of the historic center.
Due to its characteristics and location, it is one of the most recommended areas to stay in Amsterdam.

6 – Anne Frank House Museum
Although it belongs to the Canal Belt, the Anne Frank House Museum is right on the edge of the Jordaan, so they can be visited together.
The Anne Frank House on the Prinsengracht is a museum dedicated to this Jewish woman, who hid from Nazi persecution with her family and four other people in the basement of the building, the entrance covered by a false bookcase.

7 – Flower market on the SINGEL canal
Since 1883, the only floating flower market in the world has been located on the Singel canal: the Amsterdam Flower Market or Bloemenmarkt.

8 – Rijks museum and Museumplein square
The Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum, the MOCO as well as a concert hall, are in this park, which also hosts festivals and other public events.

9 – Leidsestraat, the liveliest street in Amsterdam
Amsterdam's bustling hub, with its relentless network of trams and constant stream of tourists and commuters, provides easy access to some of Europe's best attractions, businesses and street life.

10 - Tower of Munttoren
Munttoren is a monumental tower, also known as the Mint, it is located on the Muntplein square, on the mouth of the Singel canal in the Amstel river.

11 - Prinsengracht
The Prinsengracht is the longest and most modest of the Amsterdam canals and for this reason it is perhaps the most charming.
Lined with old workshops, warehouses, old churches and attached to the old working-class neighborhood of Jordaan, the Prinsengracht has a very special atmosphere.

12 – De Gooyer
It is the tallest wooden windmill in the Netherlands at 26.5 meters high and was originally used as a flour mill.

13 – The promenade
This is simply an area next to the central station of the city and it can be explored on foot and as a fundamental fact there are free 24-hour ferries to cross to the south of the city.

14 – Boat trip around Amsterdam

15 – The Red Light District of Amsterdam
We show it at night because that is really how this part of the city is appreciated.
In the heart of Amsterdam is the Red Light District, an area that stands out for the large number of neons and red lights that adorn its fronts and stained glass windows.
