Could you be a contender for this year’s Scotch Beef Farm of the Year?

The prestigious award has opened for the 2023 round of applications and organisers AgriScot, RHASS, and The Scottish Farmer are hoping for a bumper year of interest, and enthusiasm for the Scottish Agriculture Awards.

At a time of pivotal change for the beef industry, with a fine balance to be struck between tackling emissions, boosting biodiversity, and bolstering productivity, Scotland’s beef farmers have a brilliant story to tell.

Entries are open until Monday, 17th of August, and the organisers of the award are encouraging beef farmers and others involved in the industry to nominate farms they feel are worthy of receiving the title for 2023.

A team of three judges will be given the difficult task of narrowing down the entries to three finalists, of which they will pay a visit to their farms, at the beginning of September.
