I had the opportunity to play on Cateen’s special Steinway & Sons upright piano, which was part of the Street Piano event at Alpark in Hiroshima, Japan. This piano is a unique instrument with felt cloth installed between the hammers and strings, giving it a distinctive, mellow sound. It's quite different from the bold and vibrant resonance typically associated with Steinway pianos. I decided to try playing Cateen's rendition of the Super Mario Brothers' music by ear on this piano.

It was an incredible experience, and the piano's unique sound turned out to be a perfect match for the music. Please enjoy this special performance to the very end!

角野隼斗UPRIGHT PIANO PROJECT企画のひろしまストリートピアノ（アルパーク）で、かてぃんさんのピアノを弾くことができました！このピアノはかてぃんさんこだわりの特別仕様のアップライトピアノでスタインウェイ＆サンズ製です。
このピアノで、かてぃんさんが以前ストリートピアノで演奏されたスーパーマリオブラザーズの音楽を耳コピして弾いてみました♪
ハンマーと弦の間にフェルト布が設置された特殊加工のピアノで、こもった感じの音が特徴のようなのですが、スタインウェイらしい派手な響きが無いのが逆にこの曲にぴったりで、ぷに家一同嬉しい驚きでした！
