Having coached and taught in Baltimore City and seeing first hand how Angel has behaved at times during her games on her high school team at St. Frances, it is no surprise she is avoiding accountability. It doesn’t make me an expert on the matter but it does give me some insight. I hate that these days you can be called this or that because you think a young athlete should be held accountable. I also hate the division that has developed if you are a fan of Angel or Caitlin Clark. Caitlin certainly deserves to be criticized at times for some of her behavior (crying/complaining to the refs earlier in the tournament) but one player really has nothing to do with the other besides the interaction that took place last year in the championship. These women (Taylor Rooks, Cari Champion, Joy Taylor) calling out Emmanuel Acho bc of what he said about Angel claiming that he can’t speak on it because he has never been a black woman… dont you all speak mostly about men’s sports in which you have never played? You have to keep the same energy of an opportunity that allowed you all to get famous and make a ton of money to talk about something you have not actually experienced first hand. The double standard to me is mind blowing 🤯 #angelreese #Finalfour #caitlinclark
