Beginners often wonder how to know which fingers to use when playing piano? Well there's no set rules that work for everything unfortunately and learning how to make good finger choices is more akin to developing a wide vocabulary for different situations and developing fluency through experience. I play through some examples for melodies and for piano chords and show you my thinking along as well as discuss many tips to help you gain more confidence with fingering.
