Several years and a few albums ago, Zach Grace, McKinley Kitts and Dylan Bauld decided they were gonna spend some time rocking together in their Oregon burgh. Like lots of teen dudes, they bonded around the music they loved and the creativity they shared making their own. flor was born and it wasn't toooooo long before they had cool tunes like "heart," "warm blood," and "back again" being appreciated by regional audiences. Wasn't toooooo long after that they connected with the Fueled By Ramen label, and shared 'come out. you're hiding' with the world. A 50/50 mix of guitars and keybs, it brimmed with fun ideas and inventive hooks. That was four years ago, and in the interim, with Kyle Hill aboard, they've continued to articulate a vision that's become valuable to an ever-growing audience. To celebrate the arrival of 'Future Shine,' again for the FBR imprint, they swung by our Brooklyn studio to blast "Gotta Do Something” and “Clouds.” Feel free to sing along.
