Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon video. In this video, I will be talking about the reasons why HBO's Game of Thrones series is still relevant to this day. As you all know, Game of Thrones had one of the most controversial endings in television history. After the show's final season, millions of fans not only signed a petition to have season 8 remade, but they also canceled their HBO subscription. This had led to hundreds and even thousands of fans saying Game of Thrones' IP was ruined. I can't even tell you how many times I have seen people say, "no one talks about Game of Thrones anymore. That show is dead."

Well, some of the statistics and analytics would say otherwise. In fact, Game of Thrones has remained as one of the most popular television shows in the four years since it went off the air. The final season of Game of Thrones might have been bad, but it hasn't stopped millions of people from watching the show. HBO recognizes this, and they know there is still a hunger for more Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire. That's why House of the Dragon has been so incredibly successful, and it's also why HBO is still developing more shows. Regardless of what some fans may say, Game of
Thrones isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
