There's no escaping the conviction that these two fledglings are having the time of their lives. Imagine, three months in a pile of sticks and then limitless space and the ready-made skills to explore it.
The whole family was in the habitat at first light. It was so nice to see them all together. MrM left early. Hannah remained on the babysitting branch with her kids until leaving for the lake around 7 AM. The fog rolled in and out. Before Hannah departed, a roll out moment gave me the opportunity to capture golden sunlight illuminating Hannah's magnificence.
Back to back fish deliveries to the nest. Both kids ate!
