Police launched a pre-dawn raid on a pro-Palestinian encampment on the campus of UCLA on Thursday, leading to dozens of protesters being taken into custody. In addition, the university has issued a safety alert, declaring the encampments unlawful and ordering everyone to leave the area of the protest.
