Back in 1999 I embarked on a two year journey away from my family. I went to Düsseldorf, Germany.

During my two year mission, I served eight months in the mission office as the financial secretary.

I wanted to share with my family what it was like to live in the mission home. I borrowed a camcorder from a member in the ward, bought a cassette, recorded this and sent it home.

In the summer of 2001 the Düsseldorf, Germany mission was closed and split between two other missions. I don't believe it has reopened since.

Camcorders were not common place when I served a mission, so I don't think there would be many, if any, video tours of this mission office.
