“We in America believe that opinion…” US Ambassador Garcetti said this on pro-Palestine protests

Ambassador of the United States of America to India, Eric Garcetti while speaking to ANI commented upon the ongoing pro-Palestinian protests across universities in the USA and said that it’s a moment of discord in the world and that if anything goes over the line where somebody feels individually threatened is unacceptable and will have consequences.
“It’s a moment of a lot of discord in the world and we in America believe that opinion should be expressed but nobody should feel threatened. Anything goes over the line where somebody feels individually threatened that’s something that is unacceptable and it will have consequences. At the same time people do have the right to express their opinion in a peaceful manner, in a way where we can agree to disagree. Where we can respect each other’s opinion and that I think is the goal for all of us,” said Eric Garcetti.
