Helloo there :)🐀 this is an original I wrote the beginning of the month. And I think it sums up my initial reactions to my junior year of high school perfectly.

Jumbo thank you to the lovely human who made my thumbnail ^3^

- Hannah

Discontent with all the boundaries that I devised
Can’t imagine what would happen to a valentine
Left the silence, now their voices will spark my brain
With new passion and torment that put me to shame

And I still remember those eyes
Came with the origin of time
Blossom a forest at night
Maybe one day I’ll call you mine?
I’ll call you mine

Sometimes I like to convince myself that it’s okay
Watching friends fade into strangers from my disarray
Caught a firefly, to my surprise it stays aglow
For a second, passing moment, flies to the unknown

And I still remember the strands
Perfectly brushed no split-ends
Watched as I saw her face
Turn from sun’s warmth to moon’s gray

And I still remember the name
Even if I shun the face
Now that I’ve left my lifeline
Maybe one day I’ll call you mine?
I’ll call you mine
