This is an improvisation I played on a street piano in Kobe, Japan. I apologize for the recording starting mid-song, as it wasn't a planned performance. The area, although roofed, is open and was quite chilly. Before this, I played "Idol" and "La Campanella", but no one stopped to listen. (I later found out that some people were listening from the upper floor, though I couldn’t see them at the time.)
As I played in the cold, the performance naturally took on a sad tone. The lonely setting, combined with a big heart decoration, strangely matched the song's sorrowful melody. This unexpected harmony led us to decide to upload the performance.

After this, I went to another street piano and played “Idol” and “La Campanella” again, where I received a lot of applause. Please also check them out at the link below.

神戸のエコール・リラのストリートピアノで弾いた即興演奏です。もともと予定していた演奏ではないので、撮影が曲の途中からとなってしまい申し訳ありません。

ここは屋根はあるのですが吹き抜けになっており、とても寒かったです。実はこの即興を弾く前に、アイドルやラ・カンパネラを弾いたのですが、足を止めて聴いてくださる方はいませんでした。（実は上の階から聴いて下さった方はいたのですが、ぷにからは見えていませんでした）
体も心も凍える中での即興演奏でしたが、寂しげな雰囲気と大きなハートのミスマッチがこの曲の切ないメロディーに合っている気がして、この動画をアップすることにしました。

なお、この後に訪れた淡路ハイウェイオアシスでは、アイドルとラ・カンパネラを演奏してたくさんの拍手をいただくことができました。ぜひこちらもご覧ください。
