The Man Behind The Machine - released in local cinemas 15th April 2023.

Written and directed by Dalano Barnes, The Man Behind The Machine tells the story of a Shop Owner's assistant that battles with his own mortality and individuality after a new Government ruling.

This film stars Kamran Vahabi as the Shop Assistant and Robert Firth (Guardians of the Galaxy, Snowden) as Martin, the Shop Owner.

The cast includes Lydia Helen (Channel 4's Humans), William Bassoumba, Hattie Hillard and Kane O'Brien.

With an original soundtrack composed by Nathan Meneghini and a dystopian world of sound designed by Kane O'Brien.

This is Dalano Barnes' debut short film, responsible for producing, writing, directing and editing of the film. The budget for this film was raised through Kickstarter.
