The Chicago Bears have signed UDFA RB Ian Wheeler to a 3-year contract according to NFL news reports. The Bears added Wheeler after the 2024 NFL Draft and have inked him to a deal. He’ll get a chance to compete for a Bears roster spot, starting with rookie minicamp this weekend. Bears’ WR Rome Odunze told ESPN that the Chicago Bears’ offense has “no limit”. Odunze pointed to Caleb Williams and the Bears vast options offensively with DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, himself, Cole Kmet and others. Bears head coach Matt Eberflus told Kay Adams of the ‘Up and Adams’ show that Rome Odunze was the highest-ranked player on the Bears draft board when they selected him with the #9 pick.
