From the trenches of Brooklyn emerges 41: a collective hell-“Bent” on making their music feel like a movie. Comprised of talents in TaTa, Kyle Richh and Jenn Carter, the group’s newly-cerified RIAA Gold anthem “Bent” has become a global sensation since its release last August—amassing over 200 million streams and dominating the charts with three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Top 25 NYC Apple Music Chart.

Their rise has not only garnered attention from Travis Scott—who invited them to perform “Bent” at Madison Square Garden and featured them on Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio—Offset and Fivio Foreign, but their live performance prowess shot them to open for Sexyy Red in NYC.

Hailing from various parts of Brooklyn, 41 has collectively and individually left a stamp on hip-hop in a short amount of time. Their upcoming single “Birthday” (due out April 5) is poised to continue the motion these rising stars have cultivated in just under a year.

Sitting down with OGM host Hakeem Rowe, 41 speaks on their co-signs from Travis Scott, Offset and Fivio Foreign, their RIAA Gold single “Bent,” new tracks in “DM” and “Birthday,” representing the new wave of Brooklyn artists and much more in our latest Our Generation Music exclusive.
