Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar have worked together on some of the most popular comedy films in Hindi cinema. Hera Pheri, Bhaagam Bhaag, and De Dana Dan are just a few of their hits. For a long time, Akshay's fans have been speculating that the duo will work together again. And now it's going to happen. At first, this news was only coming out in media reports. But now Priyadarshan himself has confirmed it. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he said:

"My work on the docu-series on the history of Ram Mandir is complete. Now I am going to start working on my most important film, which will be made with Akshay Kumar and produced by Ekta Kapoor. It will be a horror-comedy film."
