Kyrie Irving talks about his Lakers trade rumors to join LeBron James on his Instagram Live. For the second offseason in a row, many are speculating that Kyrie Irving wants to join the Los Angeles Lakers and reunite with LeBron James and that LA Lakers may try to land him. In addition, there is speculation LeBron James is pushing for that to happen.

For starters, he pointed out it would “take a lot of convincing,” as Irving, D'Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura will be free agents this summer.

In addition, the Dallas Mavericks would have to be persuaded to take such a package. D'Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura could give them ample offensive firepower next to Luka Doncic, as well as a capable ball-handling, facilitating guard who can get hot in Russell. But they wouldn’t make them a contender.

That 2029 first-round pick could potentially be a very high one, depending on what happens with the Lakers the rest of the decade. One would have to that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban would play hardball with L.A. and try to make it give up the farm for Kyrie Irving.

Kyrie Irving is a fantastic player, and his skills are nearly second-to-none. He is one of the best one-on-one scorers in the game off the dribble, and he is considered by many to be the best ball-handler ever. His ability to split traps and double-teams is something to behold. The New Jersey native averaged 27.1 points and 5.5 assists per game while shooting 49.4% overall and 37.9% from 3-point range this season.

He would give LeBron James a scoring and facilitating partner who is on his level, which would take pressure off the 38-year-old and greatly reduce his workload. Of course, the two won an NBA championship together back in 2016 as members of the Cleveland Cavaliers, so they definitely already know how to thrive alongside each other.

● Kyrie is notably known for his role as "Uncle Drew" in the Pepsi Max commercials. An Uncle Drew movie is set for June 29, 2018, which will be produced by Lionsgate, and promoted by The General auto car insurance company. Ever since 2011, Kyrie Irving had been playing in the Quicken Loans Arena for the past 6 years, until he came to a decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Quicken Loans Arena for the Boston Celtics back in July 2017.

Kyrie Irving has partnered up with major brands such as Nike, PepsiCo, Foot Locker, Panini, PSD Luxury Men's Boxer Briefs, ProCamps, and Skullcandy. In December 2014, Irving had launched his Nike Kyrie 3 signature shoe collection. In 2016, he got equity stakes in American company Skullcandy. This deal was a part of an endorsement deal between him and Skullcandy. This move of Kyrie looks professionally good because of Skullcandy's global headphone and earbud market expected to be worth more than $17.5 billion by 2022.

He was the cover athlete on NBA 2K18, with covers published in both his Celtics and Cavs jerseys. Irving is headed to the big screen as the star of an Uncle Drew feature film. Kyrie is part owner of the Uncle Drew rights, which started as a Pepsi-funded web series. The movie led to an endorsement deal for Kyrie with General Mills. The company put Kyrie and Uncle Drew on its iconic Wheaties cereal boxes, and it helped to launch the Kyrie Irving's signature shoes Nike Kyrie 4 Wheaties colorway.
