One of the great forgotten edge players from the 1970's and 1980's. Brazile was a big linebacker (6'4" 241 lbs) who was a strong player against the run, a brutal tackler, able to rush the passer, and could step back and cover a bit. Known as "Dr. Doom", Brazile won Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1975, and was either a First or Second Team All Pro in the following 6 seasons. His play style would be replicated by many (including Lawrence Taylor), and would get his due when he was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
