So I redid this video and added some new content because of copyright issues. This version features almost 5 more minutes of Funny Anthony Davis content, so hopefully you enjoy the new version even though I just posted the old one about 2 months ago.

Anthony Davis caught a lot of crap in the Lakers only playoff series which ended several hours ago. It started with Charles Barkley calling him "Street Clothes" because he's always in street clothes according to Barkley. Then the Bronsexuals had the excuse they were in search of for defending how the Lakers losing to the Suns in the first round of the playoffs this year had nothing to do with Lebron but instead Anthony Davis' toughness.

This is totally ridiculous to me. For one, Anthony Davis was one of the main reasons the Lakers and Lebron won another championship less than a year ago. But how quickly the bandwagon Laker fans (sorry to the loyal Laker fans) and BronSexuals (sorry to the normal non-delusional Lebron fans) forget.

Let me clarify, I am by no means an Anthony Davis fan. I was for awhile but I really thought Rich Paul (Lebrons long time friend and agent) corrupted the former Kentucky star while he was signed with the Pelicans. This lead to AD basically pulling what nowadays could be referred to as a "James Harden" in making life as difficult as possible for his Pelicans franchise the same way Harden did earlier this season with the Houston Rockets in order to get traded to the Brooklyn Nets.

For the record, I am not one of those types of fans that thinks the sports team and franchise is always right and if a player leaves that team he has betrayed everyone and owes everything to the city and the fanbase. But I do think while you are signed to a team in most cases, it is at least your job to play for that team during that season and then when the season is over you can demand your trade or work out whatever issues you have with the franchise. AD did anything but that as he wanted to play with Lebron and the Lakers so he could potentially win a championship. By the way, how is one of Lebron's best friends being the agent of another star who coincidentally wants to join forces with Lebron not considered tampering? More evidence of Lebron getting to do whatever he wants without consequences from the NBA but I digress.

Anthony Davis the player however, is an absolute unit. At Kentucky, he finally helped a John Calipari coached team get over the hump and win a national championship in a dominant one and done year that was comparable to Carmelo Anthony's with Syracuse. Then he gradually improved each NBA season with the Pelicans to become one of the top superstars in the league. The only thing that was holding him back was, you guessed it, his durability.

So this season took us full circle. Last season you saw what an Anthony Davis team is capable of as the Lakers won a championship during the bubble. This year the injuries of Davis and several other Lakers players during the regular season led to LA getting a 7 seed which paired them against an impressive 2 seeded Phoenix Suns team and once AD got hurt during the series it was too much adversity for the Lakers to overcome. But let's not forget what happened last night. Anthony Davis suited up despite being way less than 100% as LA faced elimination and risked his health in order to try to help his team and teammates. This ultimately led to him reaggravating his original groin strain and being sidelined once again as the Suns eliminated the Lakers.

Personally, if I were AD, I would explore leaving LA to going to a franchise I might be more appreciated and don't have to play second fiddle to Lebron, even though he probably only has a few seasons remaining before he retires.
