Our Artist-in-Residence Zlatomir Fung introduces Saint-Saëns' tender and playful Cello Concerto No.1, which he'll perform with us on Thursday 16 May at Cadogan Hall and on Friday 17 May at Bristol Beacon with conductor Emilia Hoving.

"There was a robust earthiness to Fung’s playing, which never lost its burnished sheen, but also an impish delight in the mercurial shifts of mood, always respectful of the classical form yet making it glow from within." Bachtrack on Zlatomir's previous performance with the RPO.
