Now that I've lived in the dorms for a year and officially moved into my new place off-campus (yay!), I feel like I have a good handle on what you should and shouldn't bring to the dorms as a freshman! Remember to take this list with a grain of salt, since a lot of it will depend on the layout of your room and the rules of your building.
