Here is the guitar solo from “La Villa Strangiato” by Rush. Many consider this to be Alex Lifeson’s greatest guitar solo, and many consider the song to be the highest point of musicianship for all of the members of Rush. I first learned this guitar solo when I was around 10 years old, and to this day, it remains an extreme challenge to play. That's what makes it so much fun! 🎵🎶🎸

Guitar: Epiphone Sheraton-II Pro Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar (Midnight Sapphire)

This is easily one of the most beautiful guitars that I have ever come across. The story with this one is that two of my guitar heroes (Alex Lifeson and Steve Howe) made great use of guitars like the ES-345 and ES-355, so I really wanted to finally own a semi-hollow guitar that reminded me of those Gibson classics. I spent a long time looking for one, and I almost settled on an Epiphone Dot. However, one day, this Sheraton-II Pro in Midnight Sapphire blue came up as a recommended page, and I instantly fell in love with the guitar. I bought it in September of 2020. The finish is my favorite shade of blue (which is already my favorite color), and the gold hardware is a beautiful addition to the guitar. The inlays and the headstock are quite unique as well. I absolutely love playing this guitar, especially for Rush and Yes music. It is one of my favorites in my collection!
