This video offers a few techniques for harnessing the (sub)harmonic possibilities of the Moog Subharmonicon.
I’ve seen a lot of commentary online about how challenging it is to sequence those six oscillators in a musical way (whatever that means). Or how the 4-step sequencers can get repetitive. Or how it only quantizes to a major scale, and therefore tends to sound “happy”. Or how it doesn’t fit well with other (semi)modular gear.
Drawing on some music theory, here are solutions for each of these three issues, plus a few other ideas.

Gear used:
Moog Subharmonicon
Doepfer A121-3 VCF
Erica’s Pico Drums
Mutable Instruments’ Plaits
Mutable Instruments’ Beads
Low-Gain Electronics’ Short Bus V3
Dnipro Metamorph
Make Noise Maths
Alright Devices’ Chronoblob
Expert Sleepers’ Disting Mk4
Pamela's New Workout
Quad VCA
Behringer Neutron
EHX Cathedral reverb
