This is 'The Breakup Song' by The Greg Kihn Band. Released on the album "RocKihnRoll" (1981). I have always enjoyed playing this song in cover groups. For me, the Hi-Hats are super important in this song. They need to sizzle a little bit - not closed and not too washy. It makes a big difference is how the song sounds.
Also, my bass drum head "Wolfie" is trying to be a little more involved in these video's by casting a little flash of light with each beat of the kick drum over his left ear. LOL.
Very happy the bass drum sound is finally starting improve as I continue to learn new techniques and tricks.
