How do Speech & Language Therapists help children with SLI*? In this film, therapy is explained from the perspective of 11 year old Michael, his parents and his teacher. Michael's Speech and Language Therapist explains how work may focus on skills, strategies, self awareness and strengths, as well as supporting adults in the child's life to maximise successful communication with the child.
(*Please note, the term Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) is now being used.)
