Another chapter in the rivalry between Efren Reyes and Earl Strickland, this time they are playing straight pool back in September 1995 at the Maine Event 14.1 Championship at Spot Shot Billiards in Portland, Maine.

Reyes was only a year removed from his US Open 9-Ball title, and had won both a Sands Regency Open title and a PBT 8-Ball title this same year.

Strickland was two years removed from his third US Open 9-Ball win in 1993 and would earn a million dollars for running eleven racks of 9-ball just over six months after this match.

This is one match to 150 points. Note that there are numerous scoring errors by the match referee who is calling our current runs.
