There is no federal election campaign law violation that exists as a matter of fact or record that can legitimately be used to elevate the expired misdemeanor charge of altering business records, to a felony. The New York courts have NO JURISDICTION over federal campaign election laws, and no federal court has ever found him guilty of any such crime.
