When the camper they are catching a ride on takes a stop at a gas station, Humphrey (Justin Long) gets out to take a bathroom break. Two men notice him, believing he has rabies, and try to shoot him.
Kate (Hayden Panettiere) rushes out to save Humphrey, but the two of them end up missing the rest of their ride on the camper.
