They share the same passion for the Guyanese food as they do the culture and in this video they speak on the history of the dish while cooking up a legendary feast for the senses. Duck Curry:
4 lbs duck, cut into 2-3” pieces and cleaned
5 wiri wiri pepper
¼ cup garlic clove
2 tbsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp curry powder
3 tbsp garam masala
2 tbsp jeera powder
1 small onion
1 cinnamon stick
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tsp kosher salt

Dhal
1 cup of yellow split peas
2L of water
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp curry powder
¾ tsp turmeric
2 wiri wiri pepper
1 small onion
1 tsp kosher salt
1 garlic clove
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup frozen spinach
